Local Chef Recognized for Recreating Chocolate Bar

There's nothing like chocolate for the holidays, and nothing like a twist in tradition to spice up the season. Jenna Fu, a local aspiring chef from Phoenix and student of Culinary Institute of America, recently recreated the beloved treat and will be honored by Lindt Chocolate, celebrity chef Michael Symon and The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) as a finalist in the Lindt EXCELLENCE Recipe Challenge.

The challenge: create the new dark chocolate bar for Lindt Chocolate. Fu's recipe was among the top ten finalists and on November 17, Michael Symon and Lindt will unveil the new limited edition dark chocolate bar and announce the winner. If Fu wins, she will also be awarded with a $5,000 scholarship.
