JW Marriott Camelback Inn

JW Marriott Camelback Inn

Sitting on 125-sprawling acres, the JW Marriott Camelback Inn originally opened its doors back in 1936, today (and two restorations later) the doors reopened after a $50 million dollar renovation. This AAA Five Diamond resort affords 453 guestrooms elegantly adorned with private kitchenettes and 18 suites, some with private pools. Avid Arizona duffers may enjoy the property’s 36-hole championship courses, while others can soak up the sun poolside. For dinner splurge at one of the Valley’s best kept secrets, BLT steakhouse. There savory prime cuts and scrumptious sides from Chef Laurent Tourondel's modern American menu.

After dining last year with Bill Marriott himself at the Cameback Inn, (his favorite Marriott property) I also gained a real favoritism to the place. I love that it was one of the first luxury resorts in town and that it still is.
The BLT Steak restaurant that opened in fall of 2008 is a great place for dinner, whether you are a hotel guest or Valley local.
The spa is also a great place to eat, since the spa cafe here served yummy organic wined and really good food - and its healthy too!
