Hotel Valley Ho

Hotel Valley Ho

Hotel Valley Ho was cool back in 1956 when it first opened its doors. Before downtown Scottsdale was downtown. It's every bit as chic now, after an expansive but meticulously groomed 2005 renovation. This mid-century landmark is the evolution of cool with posh, playful rooms and suites, fab fare at ZuZu and Trader Vic's, and VH Spa for Vitality and Health. The hotel is a favorite choice for art buffs, as it is centrally located in downtown Scottsdale, just a stroll away from renowned art galleries and popular Scottsdale artwalks. The Tower offers spacious one- and two-bedroom Tower Suites with complete kitchens and generously-sized Tower Signature guest rooms located in a seven story tower. Here the rooms are designed as light, bright and fanciful havens with sweeping panoramic views, and every guest is afforded VIP status.

I really love the design of the rooms here. They are vibrant, retro and super cool. Not somewhere I would take my established, older in-laws, but definitely somewhere I would take my 20- and 30-something girlfriends. The pool scene is also home to many fun parties, and I really love the food and atmosphere at Trader Vics. Hotel Valley Ho is a really great Scottsdale landmark that is seeing a second coming.
