Year Up's mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education. The program is geared towards low-income young adults (ages 18-24, without college degrees) interested in developing the skills needed to reach their potential to succeed in today’s professional business world. Year Up is a yearlong program where students receive six months of technical and professional skills training, followed by a six month internship at a corporate partner.
