So Disappointed...Missing Arlecchino's
by Dani P
on March 18, 2010
As a regular patron of Arlecchino Gelateria, I had high hopes for Grateful Spoon. I have been there 3 times now, wanted to make sure I gave it a chance, and I must say I will not be going back. The quality, flavor, and texture of the Gelato has changed. All of them look melted, and they completely melt in your cup before you can even walk out the door. The fact that they are comparing the flavors to that of the previous owners is not helping them by any means. The "Hazelnut" gelato at Grateful Spoon looks and tastes NOTHING like the "Nocciola" from Arlecchino's. Yes, I know that Nocciola is hazelnut...but the quality of the flavor is so different.

To top it all off, last night I pulled a long, blonde HAIR out of my Hazelnut gelato last night!!! The poor girl behind the counter was so embarrassed and I was very disturbed. However, she did give me my money back, and was very professional about it.

Looks like I will need to find a new solution to my sweet tooth. An era has come to an end. Arlecchino, you will be missed! As will Boris and the rest of the crew.
