First let me say that the service was excellent. They really bend over backwards to make you happy. Now, if they had a menu that made me happy...well... I'd be happy.

We ordered the half order of their famous steak dish, the What's in This? Steak. What's in it is mashed potatoes, and they're actually ON it rather than in it. Very tender steak pieces, with mediocre, overwhipped, mashed potatoes. Tasty all in all, but when taken apart, not so much. Also ordered a half order of the tuna/halibut. The two bites of tuna were delicious. The two bites of halibut were horrible. But the asparagus risotto was amazing. In fact, it was the absolute best thing we ate there. We took home an order of delicious mac and cheese but when we reheated it, the amount of pure grease in it was stunning (in a bad way). The Mo' Rockin' Shrimp were also highly greasy, A few tiny shrimp sitting in a very strong dipping sauce with a skewer of disgusting dough balls. When I use the word disgusting and dough in one sentence, you know it's bad, since I've never met dough I didn't like.

I would take everything I said back if I were eating at Mimi's. But when they slap an overblown price tag on my food, I want to feel like I just died and went to heaven. I kept wondering how this restaurant would fare with Chef Ramsey on Hell's Kitchen.

We went to Circle K for dessert and enjoyed a very tasty Twix Ice Cream Bar.
