Daily Buzz- Blood Drive for Ava Holder
Have you donated blood lately? Well, May 26 may be the day to do it- in honor of a very special little girl- the daughter of Arizona Foothills Magazine's Chrisie Holder.
Ava was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer, on February 3. Ava's treatment has involved chemotherapy and numerous blood transfusions.
To help people in need of blood, like Ava, support her blood drive next Wednesday at the Village Health Club at DC Ranch. Between 4 and 7 p.m., United Blood Services vans will be there for anybody to give blood.
