Roof! Everyone and their dog was at the Pets Helping Kids Fundraising Breakfast for Gabriel's Angels this morning- literally.

The nonprofit organization, founded in 2000 and growing steadily since, delivers healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at-risk children, nurturing their ability to love and trust, thereby freeing them from the cycle of violence. The organization serves more than 50 facilities across the state, like Boys & Girls Clubs, homeless shelters, schools and learning centers, domestic violence centers and crisis centers, by bringing volunteers and their therapy dogs to different children's groups each week.

The breakfast this morning was full of FUNdraising and info- Kandi Lee, founder & CEO of One Eleven Companies emceed the event. Other speakers included William Allen, Chair of Gabriel's Angels Board of Directors; Connie Phillips, Executive Director of the Sojourner Center; Debra and Chelsea Markert, A Volunteer Pet Therapy Dog/Human Team; Pam Gaber, CEO of Gabriel's Angels; Wayne Anderson of The Arrow Group Animal Hospitals and Jason Knight, VP of Human Capital Strategies. Guests also got a peek at a day in the life of a therapy dog through a video as they enjoyed their deelicious quiche and fruit.

Guests included Nadine Allen and Molina Fine Jewelers (who donated a beautiful watch for the raffle), Sheriff Joe, Stan Levine and more than 550 others, up 300 from last year's breakfast!
