The Valley's resorts and Phoenix International Raceway are gearing up for the Valley's NASCAR race next Saturday, and local businesses are hoping for a big economic impact.

Last year, we saw an estimated $450 million generated in the Valley within its two race weekends. Arizona is one of 11 states to host two weekends annually within NASCAR's 36-race schedule, and is expecting approximately 8 million visitors this April. Tickets are available at the Phoenix International Raceway's Web site, and can cost up to $15,000 per seat. Let's cross our fingers for lots of big-spending rednecks.
