Are you passionate about beauty? Become your own boss! GateWay Community College Beauty and Wellness Programs can empower you with the skills and training you need to pursue a career in hair, aesthetics, nail technology, massage therapy and more.

GateWay students learn from business-savvy instructors and industry experts through hand-on training with top tier equipment. The programs also host clinics so students are able to work on real clients in a salon setting, taking their learning to the next level. 

There are a variety of certificates available to get you right to work, including some Fast Track Certificates, which can be completed in two semesters or less. Or, you can choose to take your expertise further with GateWay’s Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Beauty and Wellness.

This one-of-a-kind program offers skills in marketing, communication, finance, and leadership – really preparing you to boss up! In addition, already licensed beauty professionals can receive college credits at no cost toward earning their AAS in Beauty and Wellness, opening doors to new career opportunities. 

GateWay has been helping students find success since 1968, and the Beauty and Wellness Program is a great example of that. Classes are offered at two, centrally-located campuses in Phoenix, along with additional offerings including Business, Entrepreneurialism, and Management courses at our main campus.
