Description

Follow the journey of two young couples as they explore the intricacies of love, life and destiny,
all told through the power of movement and dance. When Dean and Suzy-Lee meet as children,
they never thought they would one day fall in love. After Dean is drafted into the military, their
destiny’s take yet another unexpected turn. Shawn and Daisy, meanwhile, meet while dancing at
a club, an introduction that will change their lives forever. How these two couples deal with love,
loss, war, and the unexpected define the collective fate surrounding us all.

Fate marks the first time CaZo Dance Theatre will feature live musical performances during the
production. Local Arizona artists Ted Jachimowiz, Delaney Harkins, and Chelsea Kae will play
live music and sing covers for half of the songs throughout the show.
“When we originally planned to bring Fate back in the Spring of 2020, before COVID shut
everything down, we were going to include live vocal performances,” says CaZo Dance
Theatre’s Artistic Director Bridgette Caron Borzillo. “So, it was only logical to include that
aspect again this time around.”

This show also marks the first time CaZo Dance Theatre will not be presenting a dark, horror-
themed show in the fall. “We considered doing one of our usual dark shows,” says Borzillo, “but
with our 10th anniversary coming up next year, and our show dates falling on Veterans Day
weekend, we wanted to do something we had already worked hard on in the past and honor our
military veterans at the same time. Fate was the perfect choice.”
Fate will be performed live at Tempe Center for the Arts (700 W. Rio Salado Pkwy., Tempe,
AZ) on Friday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 9 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets
are on sale now at www.cazodance.com and Prices are $30 for general audiences, $20 for students and military, $55 for VIP (limited quantities), and $22 for virtual tickets.
