The Downtown Chandler Community Partnership has launched a brand new concert series called Friday Night Live where two musical acts perform on the third Friday of every month. The family-friendly and free event is held at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park from 6 to 9 p.m.

On Friday, Nov. 15th listen to the Chandler Children’s Choir and Desert Dixie. Desert Dixie is a country band that has the power to appeal to all audiences. With musicians well-versed in everything from Bluegrass to Country to Heavy Metal, at a typical show you’ll hear numerous unexpected covers of well-known songs along with classics, new country and well written originals. They can rock a party crowd or entertain a conference room full of businessmen. No gig is too diverse, whether it is a dive bar steeped in music history, a huge outdoor festival or a private party.
