Local mother-daughter duo will debut their show The HeART show an artXtravaganza on October 4th.
Local artists Pam Castano’s career in art began 44 years ago creating commissioned fiber tapestries for corporate settings. When an architect wanted something noncombustible for the lobby of a hospital, Castano began her adventure in creating metal sculptures. Castano has designed and created pieces for many public and private spaces including ASU’s SkySong, St. Luke’s Hospital in Phoenix and the Tempe Police Department.
On October 4th and 5th Castano and her daughter Amy Castano a photographer will debut their show The HeART show an artXtravaganza at the Mesa Artspace Lofts Gallery. Additionally, Artspace artists Travis Ivey and Fulani Malik will also show their works. A mix of sculpture, paintings, photography and jewelry will be shown. The pop up museum shop will offer gifts and souvenirs.
