The Damned Things was founded 9 years ago when legendary guitarist Scott Ian of the metal group Anthrax and Joe Trohman, guitarist and co-founder of the ever-popular rock group Fall Out Boy, starting making songs together. Then, with the help of Fall Out Boy drummer Andy Hurley and Every Time I Die’s vocalist Keith Buckley, the supergroup was formed. Recently, Alkaline Trio’s talented bassist Dan Andriano joined the band’s ranks. The Damned Things are releasing their first new album in almost a decade this April called High Crimes. Come see The Damned Things take The District Stage and thrash on Friday, May 24. Tickets are $10.
