Spring 2019 Mental Health Awareness Fair

Wednesday, April 3^rd 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Glendale Community College Student Union

6000 West Olive Avenue, Glendale AZ 85302

This event will highlight comprehensive mental health awareness. Attendees can participate in interactive sessions, including mental health and healthcare resources, mental health and medical screenings, mindfulness meditation, stress management, and biofeedback. The mental health fair will also provide educational conferences in both English and Spanish and a career fair for networking and on-side interviews.

This event will include:

• Career Fair: Apply for a career in the field of healthcare and mental health.
• Resource Fair: Provider agencies will be in-house providing resource information
• Conference/Workshops with Kevin Hines (Suicide Survivor/Storyteller/Book Writer/Film Maker) as a Keynote Speaker
• Mind/Body assessments/screenings (A1c, HIV, depression, anxiety, etc.) and activities (e.g., free massages, mindfulness, etc.)
• University Transfer Area: Speak to university reps.
• Dress for Success Mobile Boutique Center: Free prof. attire
• Live Music and Entertainment
