St. Paddy’s weekend - you can help raise some green for the American Cancer Society. Walk (or run) one kilometer - that’s just over a half of mile.

Bring the family - this celebration is fun for all ages and abilities. Pets, strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.  

Produced in partnership with the American Cancer Society this ONE Kilometer (1K) run/walk raises money for Relay for Life Glendale/Peoria. The last two years the Kilt Run has raised over $25,000 and broke the Arizona record for the number of runners in a Kilt.

Picture 2,000+ people running or walking in a Kilt - every participant will receive a kilt. The Kilt Run goes off at 6 pm from Westgate iEntertainment District in Glendale. All finishers receive a kilt, collectable finishers medal and, if you are of age, you can enjoy a  Guinness compliments of Kiss Me I’m Irish Run at McFaddens!

Continue your St. Paddy’s Day celebrations on Saturday March 16th at the Kiss Me I’m Irish Run. Run or walk a 4k or 8k, or run the 1/2 marathon. Complete both the Friday night Kilt Run and any of the Saturday distances and you’ll receive a special “Westgate Challenge” medal.

Saturday’s run/walks start and end in the party plaza at Westgate Entertainment District, near the fountains. There will be Irish music and prizes for the best “Irish-themed” running outfits - think green wigs, stovepipe hats and silly glasses!  Additionally - in keeping with the cause - there will be a variety of informational booths and displays from cancer organizations, including our friends from Relay for Life and the Arizona Prostate Cancer Center.

All participants receive a short-sleeved technical running shirt and a finishers medal, plus entry into the McFadden’s St. Patty’s weekend party and a complimentary Guinness.
