Join the Arizona Trauma Association (ATA) Sunday, February 3 by participating in the annual Tackle Trauma 5K Run/Walk event and provide support for trauma injury prevention, education and research to reduce deaths in Arizona.

Traumatic injury is the leading cause of death for children and adults up to 46. Receiving care from verified trauma centers by the ATA significantly lowers the risk of fatalities.

The Tackle Trauma 5K Run/Walk has something for everyone, with activities for the kids including face-painting and a bouncy house! The moderate-level course runs on the east side of Papago Park at in Tempe.

Pre-registration is $35 for individuals and registration on site is $45. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and families are off to the races at 8:30 a.m.
