Description
Local photographer, Joan Wood was born and raised on the outskirts of the Tonto National Forest in Mesa. Growing up she was immersed in nature – camping, rock-hounding, fishing hunting and more. Those years spent in nature have become a huge inspiration for her photography today.
On Saturday, January 12, Wood will have her premier show – a collection of her “supernatural Southwest” photos at the Four Peaks Mining Company. Her photography represents the state of Arizona, where the most wicked ghost towns and landscapes tell their own stories.
