CELEBRATES 35 YEARS WITH STARRY KNIGHTS DONOR BALL

Saturday, October 13, at Scottsdale Plaza Resort

SCOTTSDALE—August 8, 2018—Tickets are now on sale for Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship’s annual gala fundraiser, Starry Knights. Camelot, a completely accessible ranch in North Scottsdale, serves children and adults with physical disabilities. Camelot was founded in 1983 upon the principle that it is impossible to put a price on human dignity, so all students in the Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship program receive their lessons completely free of charge. All proceeds from the Starry Knights event go directly to support these program services.

This year’s “Donor Ball”, on Saturday, October 13, will be filled with stories of courage and inspiration and will include drinks, dinner, a silent auction, and a special presentation featuring two Camelot Stars, Alicia Draper-Stasinsky and Kiah Zeman. The celebration will conclude with dessert and dancing under the stars.

“This year’s Starry Knights is particularly special because we’re celebrating our 35th lesson season,” said Camelot’s Executive Director, Mary Hadsall. “This incredible milestone represents hundreds of students, volunteers and horses who have come through the Camelot gates — all supported by the generous roundtable of Camelot donors.”

Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship is a nonprofit organization that teaches horsemanship to children and adults who have physical disabilities. Camelot has been offering all services at no cost to students since 1983 and is located in North Scottsdale. Camelot will use funds raised through Starry Knights to continue to offer their horsemanship program to children and adults with disabilities free of charge.
