On Saturday, August 18, people across the Valley will join a national effort to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis (CF) a rare, genetic disease that progressively limits the ability to breathe and ultimately causes premature death. The Arizona chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the first in the country to work with indoor cycling studios to host CF Cycle for Life: Spin Edition, a new version of the popular outdoor cycling event. Event registration is at cycleforlife.org.

Seven studios across the Phoenix metropolitan area will donate their time and instructor talent for a morning or afternoon class dedicated to the event. A member of the CF community will share their story at each location, and a post-ride celebration takes place from 3pm-5pm at Helio Basin Brewing Company.

Sweatshop on Central: 100 E. Camelback Rd, 12:30-1:15 pm
