Scottsdale Beat the Heat is coming June 16th to Westworld of Scottsdale. Part of the Scottsdale Fahrenheit Festival, the race returns after a four-year hiatus and expect it to be the hottest yet.

The race will start at 2:47 p.m., the exact time it became 122 degrees, the hottest recorded temperature in Phoenix History in 1990. Runners have the option to run either a 5K or 10.22K.  In honor of the scorching day, the race will also have the largest running purse in all of Arizona, with over a combined $8,000 going to the top-five men and women finishers.

The race is only part of the fun! The Fahrenheit Festival will also feature the Arizona Ales & Cocktails Festival, Travis Bagent arm wrestling competition, a jalapeno eating contest, plus more!
