With time to spare before Mother’s Day, 20 local artists and creatives will hold a pop-up shop that will benefit the Arizona Animal Welfare League. ReTail: A Market for Mutts will be at DeSoto Central Market on April 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

You can pick up a gorgeous Mother’s Day card from They Call Me Spindles, or some new bling from Saltrose Jewelry and All the Tiny Pieces. No matter which of the cool vendors you fall for, they all provide the greatest gift of all – support for 4,000 homeless dogs and cats every year rescued by the state’s oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter.
