Description
The Run to Fight Children’s Cancer is the largest race in Arizona dedicated solely to children’s cancer. The race will bring together an estimated 2500 walkers and runners along with hundreds of volunteers and spectators.
Now in its eighth year, the Run to Fight Children’s Cancer takes place at Grand Canyon University's west Phoenix campus. To date, the event has raised $500,000. Event planners aim to raise an additional $150,000 at the 2018 race.
Proceeds benefit Children's Cancer Network and Phoenix Children's Hospital and fund new research, treatments, patient education, financial assistance and other supportive services for Arizona families battling the disease.
