At 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, the rooftop of the Arizona Science Center will explode with flame effects, smoke plumes, falling ‘ash’, digital lava flow in a free re-creation of the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in Heritage & Science Park. The Center will stay open until 9 p.m. with fiery science demonstrations, volcano-themed activities, and specialty Pompeii-inspired drinks available for guests 21 and over.
