The resort’s Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration and holiday Donation Drive will welcome the public from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3. This annual community fundraiser will feature holiday refreshments prepared by the Chefs of The Ritz-Carlton, with the actual tree-lighting set for 6:30 p.m. and a visit from Santa to take place between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. There is a $25 vehicle charge to attend this special event, with net proceeds to be donated to Casa de Los Niños in support of at-risk children and families in the Tucson community. Additionally, guests may bring a toy to donate to the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots Foundation in Tucson, and/or canned food goods which the resort will donate to the Marana Food Bank. The evening is also the perfect time to view this year’s life-size Dine-In Gingerbread House, which will be completed and unveiled the day before, on Saturday, December 2.
