Surprise Towne Center and Surprise Marketplace are hosting a joint celebration this holiday season on Dec. 16. This free, family-friendly event called “A Down Home Holiday” features live music, free photos with Santa and much more fron noon to 3 p.m. The event takes place at the Surprise Towne Center corner parking lot on Bell Rd. at 13706 West Bell Road in Surprise (across from Surprise Marketplace).

• Surprise Fire Department (scheduled to appear based on availability)

In the spirit of the season, guests are encouraged to bring five cans of food or non-perishable food item that will be donated to the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance of Surprise, and they will receive a $5 gift card for their donation.
