What sounds better than beers, brats and best friends on a patio in October? Doing it all for charity!

The Valley's most dog-friendly Oktoberfest is set for Thursday, Oct. 19, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at O.H.S.O. Distillery (15681 N. Hayden Rd., Ste. 112 in Scottsdale). All proceeds from this event will go to the Arizona Animal Welfare League – the state’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter.

For the ticket price of $29 (or two for $49 before 10/12), “Damen,” “Herren” and “Hunde” can enjoy an amazing selection of German food and locally crafted beers while relaxing on a patio with their four- and two-legged best friends.

O.H.S.O. also created a must-try custom beer on behalf of the Arizona Animal Welfare League called Puppy Kisses Pumpkin Porter.

Each ticket includes:

• Music by Das Lederhosen
• O.H.S.O custom beer "Puppy Kisses Pumpkin Porter"
• Soft drink, brat (or vegan hotdog), pretzel, potato salad
• Pet goody bags from Choice Pet Market to the first 100 guests
• Silent auction and 50/50 raffle
