The College of Veterinary Medicine at Midwestern's Glendale Campus will host an open house on Saturday, Sept. 16 rom 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Everyone from pet owners to aspiring veterinarians are welcome to attend.

Open House Activities Include:

• Tours of the College of Veterinary Medicine clinical facilities
• "Birthing Betsy" calf delivery simulation
• Teddy bear surgery - bring your "injured" small stuffed animal for repair!
• Canine physical rehabilitation
• Animal forensics
• Horse and cow physical exam skills
• Dog CPR simulation
• Hands-on bandaging with an artificial horse
• Demonstration of horse acupuncture
• Anatomy displays
• Household medications and pet safety
• Life of a vet student/how to become a veterinarian
