Description
Our 65th Anniversary season opens with the PYS Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Phoenix Symphony Assistant Conductor, Matthew Kasper, on November 12, 2017 at 3pm at Scottsdale Center for the Arts. Â The Youth Symphony will perform selections from Sergei Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet followed by the work of his grandson, with the Arizona debut of Gabriel Prokofiev's Concerto for Turntable and Orchestra and will end the season opening concert with Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 8. Â You won't want to miss it!
