The 11^th Annual Laura’s Run—April 8 at 8 a.m.—Tempe Kiwanis Park

All ages of people and pups are invited to participate in Laura’s Run, featuring 10K and 5K runs, a 1 mile run/walk, kids’ dash and doggie trot. Plus, there’s live entertainment, silent auction, runners’ brunch, custom T-shirts and finishing medals, age-group awards, real-time results and online photos. Best of all: The event helps people in their fight against lung disease by supporting Norton Thoracic Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
