Resource Centers Workshops

CREATE is the only place that provides workshops for ages 13 and older with a full­time dedicated staff of experts in their field. CREATE introduces individuals to new technologies as well as traditional crafts such as sewing and woodworking that are forgotten vocational skills no longer taught in many schools in Phoenix. The team has developed tinkering experiences for those novices curious on how one uses the tools such as soldering found in CREATE.

Connected to a well-recognized science center, CREATE is uniquely positioned to be a community hub in Phoenix dedicated to innovation, scientific inquiry, and making. The Center is giving STEM a new presence in the community, and offering people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to ask questions, discuss, explore and create.

CREATE littleBits Meetup: Make it a fun Saturday with your family and friends at CREATE at Arizona Science Center!  Join us for littleBits meetup the third Saturday of every month.  CREATE, located adjacent to the main building, is a 6,500 square foot community makerspace.

CREATE littleBits Meetup: Transformers

On June 17, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. Ages 8+ Cost: $5 per person Decepticons are invading Earth and we need your help!  Join us for littleBits meetup in June as we design and prototype technologies that can be used to defend our planet.  Participants will be given access to our littleBits Pro Library for the purposes of making, tinkering, hacking, prototyping, and inventing. Space is limited.  Register today!  Guests under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adults.  Guests will not be able to take littleBits with them after the event.
