Stephanie and Stephen Fay

Stephanie, a noted Valley Wedding photographer, met her sweetie Stephen met while attending college in San Diego thanks to their roommates. Stephanie’s roommate was dating Stephen’s roommate and were brought together during a brief encounter in the dorms. Stephen recalls “she just walked into my dorm room and made it easy on me”. These two lovebirds have not only been together but have grown with each other ever since.

Was it love at first sight?

Stephanie: I wouldn't say it was "love" at first sight but I think it was definitely an  interesting first meeting. We were immediately attracted to each other.

Stephen:  I wouldn't say it was love at first sight either.  There was definitely an initial attraction but the love soon developed shortly after spending more time with each other.

How long have you been together/married?

Stephanie: We have been dating for 5 years, but married for a year and 4 months.

What do you love most about your partner?

Stephanie: I love Stephen's loyalty and genuine spirit. He is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met.

Stephen: I love her caring heart and her continual encouragement.  She shows me everyday what it truly means to love

What do you think is the success to your relationship?

Stephanie: I think being patient with each other is the key to success. It’s extremely important to communicate with each other and fully  listen to each other’s feelings.

Stephen: Listening...which I'm still lacking in.

What does your ideal date night entail?

Stephanie: My ideal date night with Stephen is a quiet night. We enjoy hanging out with each other whether we are out to dinner or inside our house with a glass of wine. We just enjoy being with each other!

Stephen: I think variety is the key here.  I'm not the type who gets hung up on one certain date or a routine, but enjoys variety in our date nights.
