Phoenix Suns' Gorilla to Deliver Hundreds of Backpacks to Local Schools

WHAT:
The Phoenix Suns’ Gorilla will deliver 660 backpacks, filled with school supplies, when he visits Gateway Community College on Thursday, August 11 at 4 p.m. The backpacks will be sorted at Gateway Community College prior to being donated to Communities in Schools, an organization dedicated to empowering underserved Valley youth to stay in school.
The Phoenix Suns, in partnership with Harkins Theatres and Coca-Cola, hosted “Operation Backpack” this past weekend, collecting 510 backpacks for underserved children across the Valley. In addition, the Phoenix Suns are donating 150 backpacks...
DC Ranch Market Street has two Closures

Market Street at DC Ranch had two recent closures. Beauregard Food Co. and Krispy Kreme have both closed; however Armitage, West Addison and the Herb Box seem to be doing well.

Scottsdale Quarter is proud to host the Greater Arizona Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s 11th Annual Taste of the Town Friday, October 21. The event benefiting more than 2,400 Arizona families affected by neuromuscular diseases will feature live music, a silent auction and signature dishes from some of the Valley’s finest restaurants.
Come dressed to impress for a fun-filled evening and help Scottsdale Quarter and the Greater Arizona Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association assist Valley families affected by this disease.
