Meet Groot, an 8-year-old German Shepherd mix currently waiting for his forever home at the Arizona Humane Society.

Groot's journey hasn't been easy. Found as a stray on the streets of Phoenix, he required medical attention after being attacked by another dog. Thankfully, Groot received the care he needed at the Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital, where a dedicated veterinary team treated his wounds and provided dental care.

Now, Groot has blossomed into a remarkable companion. With a calm and steady presence, he has won the hearts of staff and volunteers alike.
