The third annual Stadium Classic at TPC Scottsdale gave golfers the opportunity to tee off for a good cause, as the tournament raised over $75,000 for the Michael Phelps Foundation. An unforgettable day of golf, camaraderie and philanthropy, the money raised will support those struggling with mental health challenges.

 "It was a pleasure to be part of the Stadium Classic, and we're so thankful our foundation was the beneficiary,” Nicole and Michael Phelps said. “The opportunity for Waste Management fans to play the course in its tournament-ready state is a truly unique and exciting experience."

The Foundation provides families with tools and support to foster confidence and mental well-being through mental health initiatives. The most decorated Olympian of all time, Phelps attended the event in person to sign autographs, conduct interviews and meet players.

“On behalf of the foundation and the families we serve, we extend our deepest gratitude to Stadium Classic for their incredibly generous $75,000 donation,” Phelps said. “This contribution will bolster our efforts to provide vital water safety and mental health lessons, empowering countless young people to thrive both on land and in water.”

Stadium Classic teed off with a party presented by BOK Financial the evening before the tournament at The Vault in North Scottsdale, an event venue that also serves as a luxury storage facility for high end, collectible cars. Complete with cuisine from some of the Valley’s top restaurants including Yellowbell, The Camby Hotel, and Pomo Pizzeria, the event also had a full bar and fun whisky experience.

Guests practiced shots on the 16th hole at TPC via golf simulators and had the opportunity to win raffle prizes from high-end luxury brands, golf apparel and experiences, gift cards from restaurants and custom Kicks by Kenna.
