However, an alarming surge of Parvovirus cases has been affecting not just homeless pets but owned pets throughout our community, as well.
Mochi: A Perfect Mix of Everything Cute!
With a face as cute as her adorable ears, Mochi is a five-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier with a heart as big as her personality. This sweet pup arrived at the Arizona Humane Society after her previous owner was unable to continue caring for her due to too any pets in the home.
Little Giblet is a Survivor
A perfect example of a pet saved thanks to fostering, Giblet is an adorable 13-week-old brown tabby who has been through quite a bit in his short little life. A little over a month ago, this sweet kitty was brought to the Arizona Humane Society as an injured stray.
Upon examination in the shelter's Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital, it was found this tiny baby was suffering from a broken jaw. Too little to undergo surgery, AHS veterinarians helped mitigate Giblet's pain until he was big enough to have a wire put in to correct his injury.

Buddy is Ready for a Buddy of His Own!
Adopting from a shelter not only gives a pet a second chance but also helps save more lives like those of sweet Buddy! Buddy is an adorable one-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix who came to the Arizona Humane Society in October after his owner could unfortunately no longer care for him.
