EXTRA EXTRA!

ABC15 is celebrating the 10th Annual Operation Santa Claus with an entire day dedicated to donations.

In partnership with Sanderson Ford, Lincoln and Volvo, ABC15 will devote 14 hours of coverage on December 7th to raise money and donations for the Arizona holiday drive.

The "Operation Santa Claus-a-thon" will kick off on ABC15 Mornings at 5am by taking viewers live to three Valley donation drop-off locations.  To raise funds for the cause, a 14-hour phone bank also starts at 5am.

After ABC15 Mornings, our team will continue to go live every 30 minutes from Sanderson Ford in Glendale, and at two Valley UPS stores. At each location, our volunteers will take your toys, clothes, non-perishable food items and monetary donations – until 7pm.

In an effort to make this year even bigger and better, ABC15 is challenging Valley businesses to match viewer monetary donations. ABC15 anchors and other familiar faces will be at the drop-off locations to thank participating businesses and Arizonans on TV who donate $2500 or more.

Back home at the ABC15 studios, volunteers from the charities benefiting from Operation Santa Claus will be accepting donations from people who call into a special phone bank which will be open until 7pm.

Donors will also have the opportunity to be one of ten finalists to win their choice of a new Ford F-150 Super Crew or Volvo S60. Each finalist will win a $100 Visa Gift Card and a car key. The finalist with the key that starts the truck will win the new Ford F-150 or Volvo S60. Until December 20 two finalists will be drawn live weekly on ABC15’s Sonoran Living from 9-10am.
