XAVIER COLLEGE PREPARATORY TO PRESENT DISNEY'S "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST"
(Phoenix) - The Xavier Drama Department is pleased to announce its fall musical production, Disney's Beauty and the Beast. This classic tale is a wonderful show for the whole family! Its music, costumes, story and Xavier/Brophy student cast will dazzle audience members of all ages.
Performance dates will be Wednesday, October 19th, Thursday, October 20th, and Saturday, October 22nd at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a matinee performance on Saturday, October 22nd at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be held in the Kemper and Ethel Marley Theater in the Virginia G. Piper Performing Arts Center on Xavier's campus. Tickets are $7.00 for all patrons, and may be purchased either by calling the Jackson Box Office at 602-240-3161 or at the door. There will be general seating.
Xavier has won a number of National Youth Theatre awards for its recent Xavier/Brophy musical productions, including Outstanding Ensemble, Best Lead Actor in a Musical, and Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for Grease; and Outstanding Ensemble and Best Lead Actor in a Musical for Fiddler on the Roof.
