EXTRA EXTRA!

Terence O’Toole Murnin recently returned from Hollywood where he’s pitching his new feature film project, JOSE’ O’ SHEA’S. The Valley-based writer/Marcom/PR guru’s latest script has garnered significant buzz around Tinseltown and is currently being appraised by numerous production companies, agents and managers.

This generation’s CASABLANCA, with SB-1070, Arizona’s repressive anti-immigration mandate as its political background; JOSE’ O’ SHEA’S explores the volatile chemical attraction between Irish men and Mexican women in a life and death battle for love, lust, human rights and dignity.

When asked who he sees playing his three main characters in the film, Murnin smiles and without hesitation names some of the most elite actors in the business: “My main character is a very strong, powerful Latina and I really envision someone sexy and evocative such as Salma Hayek or Sofia Vergara. My leading man is an Irish lad; so of course, I’d love to see a stud like Colin Farrell conquer the role. My bad guy has to be someone that the ladies love – and everyone fears – and I think Javier Bardem is one of the best in the industry at being able to embody such a wide range of conflicting qualities.”
