If creative, magazine-style writing and project management are your strengths, you may be a good fit for the Promotion Manager position available at Arizona Foothills Magazine.

The Promotion Manager role is central to the company, helping keep editorial, sales and marketing departments seamlessly working together towards one common goal: total domination. The Promotion Manager position calls for a thorough and articulate candidate with flexibility, creativity and the ability to roll with the punches.

Our candidate will be the following:

• A Superior Writer. A vast majority of projects depend on perky, fun, fast and meticulous writing to engage our audience. On average, expect to write about 50-60% of the time.

• A Confident Project Manager. You will need the general ability to manage and balance many different projects at once with confidence, from events to contests to multi-tier promotions.

• An Agreeable, Adaptable Personality. In addition to our own marketing efforts, Arizona Foothills Magazine supports the campaigns, events and promotions of many sponsors and local businesses, which can require working in close proximity with many types of personalities and brands.

• A Thorough, Articulate Problem-Solver. This candidate will need to create airtight contest rules, troubleshoot potential problems and put out fires with ease.

• A Professional Brainstormer. Creative ideas, unique partnerships and sellable sponsorship ideas are crucial in succeeding at this position.

• An Adult- Arizona Foothills will not hold your hand. You will receive some guidance but will be expected to make great things happen on your own.
