American Express Centurion Lounge at SEA

American Express recently relocated and tripled the size of its Centurion Lounge at the Seattle Tacoma International Airport, resulting in a sleek, 14,000-square-foot club with views of the Olympic mountains. A top attraction of the lounge is its expansive menu by James Beard Award semifinalist Kristi Brown, which features items such as the soul food-inspired Trinidadian Spiced Pork Belly and “Peach Cobbla” French Toast. Flyers can also enjoy fresh coffee and other beverages at the full-service coffee bar. 

Capital One Lounge at IAD

A Capital One Lounge recently premiered at Dulles International Airport, bringing flyers a luxurious space that offers amenities centered around work, wellness and dining. The lounge features meeting rooms, a full bar and an espresso bar, grab-and-go food items, a shower suite, relaxation pods and an exercise room equipped with cold water, towels and Peloton bikes. 

Cathay Pacific First Class Lounge at HKG

The Wing and The Pier, Cathay Pacific’s two first-class lounges at Hong Kong International Airport, provide flyers with the utmost luxury. Across the two lounges, first-class travelers have a host of amenities at their fingertips, including temperature-controlled cabanas with bathtubs and rain showers, private day suites, a champagne bar, restaurants, a full buffet and a spa. At The Pier, guests will feel at home in a contemporary apartment design featuring walnut, bronze and brass materials and leather furniture. 

Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at BOS

Flyers are immersed into a world of tranquility at the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Boston Logan International Airport. The 11,640-square-foot space features views of Boston Harbor that can be enjoyed with a cup of local coffee or one of seven dishes from acclaimed chef Douglass Williams of Boston’s MIDA and APIZZA. There’s also a private nursing suite, two shower rooms and two wellness rooms where travelers can sink into anti-gravity massage chairs as they listen to guided meditations.

Delta Sky Club at JFK 

The new Delta Sky Club at NYC’s JFK Airport is the place to be for a day of travel. The 14,000-square-foot lounge is home to a 360-degree marble bar serving flyers wine, beer and seasonal cocktails, along with four soundproof booths that offer a quiet place for napping or taking calls and a covered patio that offers great views. Each of the lounge’s 250 seats are conveniently equipped with an electric outlet, plus the club’s menu spotlights local chefs so travelers can get a taste of the area between flights. 

Emirates First Class Lounge at DBX

The Dubai International Airport dedicates an entire floor to the Emirates First Class Lounge, where colorful tiles and sparkling decor create a luxurious environment for travelers. The lounge includes multiple seating areas, shower suites and quiet rooms for naps, along with higher-end amenities, like a wine cellar, a spa, a champagne lounge and a dining room buffet featuring gourmet food from around the world. 

Qantas First Lounge at SYD

The Qantas First Lounge at Australia’s Sydney Airport not only boasts stunning architecture and floor-to-ceiling windows, the 21,000-square-foot space also pampers flyers with luxuries such as marble-clad showers, private business suites and conference rooms, and high-end food and beverage offerings, including seasonal menus by Australian chef Neil Perry, award-winning wines and freshly prepared coffee. United’s latest Polaris Lounge at Dulles International Airport is one of six premium sites nationwide for long-haul international business customers and for first-class customers traveling on Star Alliance. Just some of the features that make up this $41 million lounge are stunning white marble, modern plush leather furniture, sparkling floors and ceilings and relaxing music.  The opulence continues with two Quiet Suites featuring Saks Fifth Avenue bedding, a dining room offering a made-to-order menu, a full bar and six shower suites complete with toiletries, rainfall shower heads and ironing services. 

Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at LHR 

The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at London Heathrow offers a rejuvenating escape from the bustling airport. The spacious lounge features calming Earth tones and provides flyers with elevated food and beverage options at the 45-foot cocktail bar and the brasserie that serves a large menu and afternoon tea. Travelers also have the luxury to get in some exercise with one of the lounge’s Peloton bikes, freshen up with a shower or take in the fresh air on the outdoor terrace.
