Whether you’re working to shave strokes off your handicap, picking up a club for the first time, or looking for a structured path into competitive play, Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is expanding its approach to instruction with a new program designed to make improvement more personalized and accessible.
The historic Phoenix golf destination recently announced a new partnership with Combine Golf Academy, launching an elevated instruction program centered around modern coaching techniques, performance data, and individualized player development.
Leading the new initiative is Joe DiChiara, founder of Combine Golf Academy and director of instruction at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. With more than 22 years of coaching experience, DiChiara brings an extensive resume that spans beginner golfers to major champions competing on the PGA and LPGA Tours.

His work has earned recognition from Golf Digest as a Top Ranked Coach for four consecutive years, while his membership on the TaylorMade National Fitting Council places him among an invitation-only group of the nation’s leading club fitting experts.
“Our goal is to make golf more accessible and enjoyable for every player who comes through the program,” said Leo Simonetta, director of golf at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. “Partnering with Combine Golf allows us to provide clear, personalized instruction that builds confidence and helps players improve their game.”
The academy introduces a range of offerings intended to meet players wherever they are in their golf journey. Programs include private instruction, structured player development, junior training, beginner and ladies’ programs, technology-driven swing analysis, and performance-focused practice plans. At the core of DiChiara’s coaching philosophy is the belief that improvement doesn’t come from chasing one swing.
“Combine Golf is committed to delivering one of the most advanced and effective golf instruction experiences in the country and we’re thrilled to partner with Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to reach even more people,” said DiChiara. “By combining data, coaching expertise, and individualized training, we’re creating a program that helps every golfer improve with purpose and confidence.”

That individualized approach helped shape DiChiara’s proprietary ACT System (Assess, Coach, Train) a structured framework designed to identify strengths and opportunities, implement adjustments, and reinforce long-term progress.
Joining the academy are instructors Kennedie Montoya, a former Division I standout at GCU and New Mexico State University, and Thomas Lehman, whose collegiate playing experience at TCU and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo brings additional competitive insight to the coaching staff.
The launch further expands the experience at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, home to the Estates Course and Links Course, two distinct 18-hole layouts set within the Biltmore Estates community. Combined with on-site dining, practice facilities, and one of the Valley’s most recognizable golf settings, the club continues building toward a more complete golf experience.
