iPad was the gift of 2010. Now (more of) the world knows the glory of Apple's latest magic slate- and those of us who early-adopted won't have to deal with the constant "Is that an iPad?" questioning that arises whenever we whip 'em out in public. I relish the chance to explain the iPad's features to friends or family, but constant stranger tutorials can be really annoying.

Some people don't like to share.  I am one of those people.

This Christmas, my mom was the proud recipient of a little tab. And with all the awesome sites she could visit on Safari, movies she could watch on Netflix and contacts, calendars, maps and bookmarks she could have been organizing, she just kept chugging away at a game called Peggle.
