What did we do before iPad?

iPad OS 4.2

The iPad is still fresh in the minds of consumers, (check out our reasons to buy one ASAP) but iPad OS 4.2 will give the operating system the same flavor as the iPhone's new OS. Available this November for free, iPad OS 4.2 will offer:

• Folder organization for your pages of Apps- The "pottery wheel" app doesn't need to cramp your style anymore
• AirPlay, so you can stream video and audio from iTunes to your iPad, or from your iPad to your new Apple TV
• Printing- Pass out that awesome keynote presentation, iPad now can print on networked printers

If it weren't for iTunes, we might not get through the work day. While there aren't a ton of new updates, iTunes 10 will make everybody's techno-portal a touch cooler with social networking discoveries. iTunes 10 can be downloaded now, and features these delightful updates:

• A connection with social music discovery site Ping- so you and your pals can follow each other, share tunes, post thoughts and opinions, create custom playlists and learn more about specific artists
