Why did you enter Face of Foothills?
Well I entered Face of Foothills because I thought it would be a fun competition. My family, friends, athletes and ex-students thought it would be a great idea, so I decided to do it for them. Personally, I really just thought it would be a great idea to represent Tucson, AZ, Pima Community College and my family by being the Face of Foothills, due to the fact that I am a Tucson native, ex high school teacher, current college track coach (Pima Community College), future nurse at TMC (pending my state boards) and Ford Model. The competition is really fun.

As a top vote-getter, how are you getting all your votes?
I am getting all my votes from family, friends of family, current athletes, ex-athletes and my friends. I have just been spreading the word via Facebook, email and text. I have relatives all over the country and in England. I have not had a voting party and probably will not although it is a great idea.

When you think of AZFoothills.com, what do you think of?
Honestly I think of style, class, sophistication, education and fun. I feel that this website/magazine and Arizona encompasses all these areas. Many of AFM's articles/Facebook posts and online content address these words and that’s why I feel why this magazine/web page is so fun and successful.

What is currently on your iPod?
My iPod has such a wide variety of music, spanning from Stevie Wonder to Usher, from Linkin Park to Brittney Spears. I like all kinds of music, it just depends if I am driving, working out or hanging out with friends.

What’s your motto?
My motto is to just be positive, work hard and inspire others. I feel that I have embraced this motto with the many careers that I have/ had. I was an adopted child so, had it not been for my family's love, respect, and inspiration that they have placed upon me, I feel that most aspects of my life would have been impossible.

Favorite food?
Wow, I like all food but, I would have to say either protein shakes or chicken wings from Wingstop (lemon Pepper). I could eat these items all week. I normally prefer to eat healthy but it’s fun to cheat sometimes.

Dogs or cats?
I love dogs, especially larger ones such as Bordeaux’s, Boxers and Great Danes.

What do you think it takes to be the next Face of Foothills?
I feel that to be the next Face of Foothills you have to be able to represent the many aspects of the magazine. As I stated earlier, I feel that style, class, sophistication, education and fun are my images of this magazine. To embrace this magazine/web page you must be able to have a background in these areas.
