Why did you enter Face of Foothills?
I actually entered the Face of Foothills contest on a whim. I recently got back into the modeling industry with Agency Arizona, and I figured it would be a great way to gain experience, as well as exposure to the fashion world. Also, I love AFM! Style, substance and sophistication are three traits that really identify me as a person. Fashion has always been a serious passion of mine.

As a top vote-getter, how are you getting all your votes?
I credit most of the votes that I get to my amazing friends! They have supported me so much throughout the years and they all got really excited when I told them about the FOF contest. Also, social media applications like Twitter and Facebook have really brought in a lot of votes from many different people (some of whom I probably have never met). We live in an age of information, and social media is at the forefront of technology and information sharing. It's truly amazing to think of what the Internet has done for our global society.

When you think of AZFoothills.com, what do you think of?
When I think of anything related to AFM, I think of my hometown of Scottsdale. I've lived there all my life and I love the culture of people that has been accumulating there for the past two decades. I know the city, and AFM has been a big part in the lifestyle of Scottsdale. I look to AFM for all of the ongoing cultural and societal development in my hometown.

What is currently on your iPod?

What’s your motto?
"Bек живи - век учись" Translation from Russian: "Live for a century - learn for a century." I learned this phrase when I was studying abroad in Moscow, Russia and it really taught me to never cease learning new things about the world.

What do you think it takes to be the next Face of Foothills?
To be the next Face of Foothills, I think it takes a great amount of dedication, the right look and, of course (above all), the personality to encompass it all. The key to success in any aspect of life is being sociable and having a unique and friendly personality.
