Last night MTV premiered season two of the hilarious show The Hard Times of RJ Berger. The show is about a nerdy kid named RJ who is just trying to make it out of high school alive. He has to deal with bullies, hormones, his best friend Lily always coming on to him, and the hard task of being in love with the school’s dream girl, Jenny Swanson. In this new season of RJ Berger we can expect to see guest stars such as Vinny from the Jersey Shore and Paris Hilton. What’s even more awesome is that the stunning and gorgeous Amber Lancaster, who plays Jenny Swanson, took the time to answer some of our questions about season two of The Hard Times of RJ Berger!
BE: So how excited are you for Season 2 of The Hard Times of RJ Berger to start on March 24th?
AL: So excited! I didn't even expect a season 1, so season 2 is icing on the cake.
BE: What can we expect to see this upcoming season? Will there be more sexual tension between Jenny and RJ?
AL: You will see a lot more sexual tension between RJ and Jenny for sure. There's a possible dating scenario. There's always going to be the love triangle.
BE: Is your personality in real-life close to what your character Jenny is like?
AL: A lot of who Jenny is definitely parallels who I was in high school. When you are young, it's much easier to be thrown into a stereotypical category, and because you don't know any better you just kind of go with it. Jenny is just starting to figure out that you don't have to be what everyone wants or expects you to be, and I can relate to that.
BE: What is the one thing you are most excited for the audience to see this season?
AL: I'm really excited for the audience to see Jenny as you’ve never seen her. She gets high, she breaks out in zits… It’s quite a departure from "dream girl" Jenny.
BE: I’ve heard that you are a model on the Price is Right, how did you come about getting that gig?
AL: I auditioned through my modeling agent.
BE: Also read that you were a cheerleader for the Seattle Seahawks; are you a huge football fan? If so, is Seattle your favorite team?
AL: Of course!!! I was rooting for the Packers in the Super Bowl though....
BE: From watching RJ Berger it’s obvious to see that you are in amazing shape, what kind of workout routine do you have?
AL: I don't really like "working out.” I like anything that is fun and has to do with dance. I take a class called "cardio barre" that I love.
