Craving a worry-free Thanksgiving?  Check out AZ's hottest spots to celebrate T-Day.

It is, by far, one of my favorite AZ escapes: Scottsdale’s serene Four Seasons Troon, the ultimate desert retreat. And since the AAA Five Diamond resort is in our backyard, why not surrender the kitchen this Thanksgiving and give thanks getting pampered.  Yep, this year the hotel’s esteemed restaurant Talavera is offering a savory T-Day spectacular, sure to make your taste-buds sing.  Consider this: ditching the cooking, cleaning, and chaos, for duck confit, sweet onion parsnip soup, white truffle gnocchi, organic turkey, pheasant sausage-cornbread stuffing, coffee espresso rubbed buffalo tenderloin, and your choice of double pumpkin cream, Jack Daniels chocolate pecan, or apple cranberry pie.  (OMG!)  Dinner’s being served on Thanksgiving from 4-8pm for $85 per person.  (A children’s menu/price is also available.)  For reservations, call (480) 515-5700.

Or you can go to Quiessence…have you heard of it?

Why not spend Thanksgiving at one of the Valley’s hidden gems, AAA’s Four Diamond property at the Farm South Mountain; that’s where the chef is preparing quite a feast.  The menu includes creamy foraged mushroom and roasted chestnut soup, slow roasted heritage turkey, baked stuffed New England lobster, and all the typical T-Day fixings.  (Potatoes, greens, and stuffing galore.)  As for dessert…house-baked pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream, or warm apple crisp with vanilla ice cream.  (I just gained 10 lbs. thinking about it.)  For more information, call (602) 276-0601.

And if you’re looking to skip town this T-Day, head to the red rocks, and if you do, eat at the L’Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek.  According to AAA Arizona, this Sedona property is totally unique.  The northern Arizona getaway destination is perfect for your Thanksgiving feast, offering an elite array of entrées.  Your choices include organic greens, rock shrimp and bay scallop, pumpkin risotto, Burgundian escargot croquette, roasted chestnut soup, rosemary butter-basted turkey, grilled filet minon, thyme-scented stone bass, and butternut squash caramelli.  Of course, you’ll also enjoy dessert.  Reservations are limited, so if your mouth is watering, book your spot by calling (928) 204-4350.  It costs $75 per adult.

And finally, if you’re visiting family in Tucson, head to Primo, the JW Marriot Starr Pass’s AAA Four Diamond restaurant.  The southern escape is perfect for anyone craving some Thanksgiving pop…Chef Kelly and Chef de Cuisine Christie Tenaud created quite the spread!  You’ll fill up on turkey, seared scallops, prosciutto salad, pork chop, snapper, sweet potatoes, and veggies.  (Dessert options include an amazingly appetizing goat cheese cheesecake.)  It’s $85 per person, and reservations are required.  Just call (520) 791-6071.
