Want to celebrate Thanksgiving in culinary style?  Here's how you can enjoy tasty delights in the comfort of home, without lifting a finger.

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving—a night known for launching holiday festivities.  Yep, it’s the unofficial start of the season…many people go out, catch up with old friends, and pre-party before Turkey Day.  And this year, the Montelucia Resort & Spa is kicking things off with the 4th annual ‘Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving Celebration, a courtyard soiree supporting families of fallen law enforcement and public safety officers.  You got it…toast to the holidays for a good cause from 5pm to midnight—100% of the party’s proceeds benefit the 100 Club of Arizona.  You’ll enjoy live music, drink specials, and appetizers from the resort’s Mbar; VIP reservations are available.

But if you’re saving your stomach for turkey, feast on this.  The AAA Four-Diamond resort is offering an extraordinary multi-course meal Thanksgiving night.  For $69 per person ($29 per child), you’ll savor culinary treats like Lobster and Crab Tartin, Burrata, Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Branzino at Prado, Montelucia’s esteemed restaurant.  Of course, you’ll get the traditional fixings like stuffing and mashed potatoes, in addition to elite dishes like calamari and cinnamon gelato.  (Yum!)

However, if getting all dolled up is not your cup-of-tea, you can still enjoy Montelucia’s meals in the comfort of home.  For $125, you’ll get a bunch of food to cover a party of 8m, including a 10-pound turkey, gravy, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and dessert.  For more information, call 480-627-3176.

And AAA Arizona has another tip for those who fear the kitchen.  You can easily order a take-home meal from the Five Diamond Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa.  Yes, let them do your cooking.  For $200, you’ll get a meal that serves 6-8—and it’s quite a delectable menu.  Fill up on a slow-roasted 18-pound turkey, onion buttermilk mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, green beans, cranberry relish, sweet yams, artisan bread, and your choice of pie.  (Is your mouth watering?!)  If this interests you, act fast.  You must order by Friday, November 18th.  Just call 602-385-5726 and reference the "farm-to-table" order.

On the Scene with Nadine will be showcasing more Thanksgiving hot-spots leading up to T-Day, so stay tuned…
