As a parent, we all want our children to be able to have the same fun childhood experiences - playing in the park, going to school, having sleepovers, attending summer camp - but that can be difficult when your child has a serious illness and needs medical care on a daily basis.  That's where Arizona's Camp Soaring Eagle, located in beautiful Sedona, comes along families and allows children who have serious illnesses to enjoy a camp experience without having to worry about their medical condition.

On October 20th, 2012, Camp Soaring Eagle will be hosting their Annual Event - we Play, we Laugh, we Care, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort.  This event, which is hosted by the camp's official spokesperson, Jane Seymore and will include a golf tournament, VIP reception, as well as a gala in the evening.  It's sure to be a 'sweet' evening - as the theme for the event is "Candy Land."

This event, which looks like it will be so much more fun than the game itself, promises to transport attendees to a world of candy and sweetness, 'where the worries of sickness and diseases disappear.'  The day begins with an 830am shotgun start golf event, where you can secure your foursome spot for $1300.  After, enjoy the VIP Reception in the Arizona Biltmore's Paradise Garden, which is for sponsors and their guests.   Post-VIP Reception is the Candy Land Gala in the Ballroom, from 6pm-10pm.  (Tables of 10 can be reserved for $3500.)

If you're looking for a fabulous event to attend, as well as a great cause to support, then this is the event for you!  The money raised from the we Play, we Laugh, we Care Annual Affair determines how many seriously ill children can attend the camp in 2013.  All campers who attend Camp Soaring Eagle attend for free - this camp is completely supported by charitable donations, like yours.   You can find more information on the Camp Soaring Eagle Annual Affair on their website - where you can also donate if you feel compelled.
